Vicolo dei Modelli, 54 — Rome
The Trevi Fountain
Around the house

Rome is
on your doorstep

Monuments, piazzas, artisan shops and trattorias: the best of the city just a few minutes' walk away.

Rione Trevi

The centre,
at walking pace

Vicolo dei Modelli is a little street between the Trevi Fountain and the Quirinal. Here the Rome of monuments lives side by side with the Rome of Romans: the café downstairs, the baker, the historic shops. Leave the car behind, bring comfortable shoes.

Our tips

A day
like a Roman

7:30 am

The fountain at dawn

Head downstairs and you're at the Trevi Fountain while the square is still empty. It's the best time for photos.

9:00 am

Cappuccino at the bar

Do as the Romans do: coffee and a cornetto standing at the bar counter. Quick, delicious and unhurried all at once.

1:00 pm

Lunch at a trattoria

Carbonara, cacio e pepe, amatriciana: in the lanes around Trevi and the Pantheon you'll find family-run trattorias.

7:30 pm

Sunset and gelato

Climb up to the Quirinal for sunset over the rooftops, then an artisan gelato as you stroll towards Piazza Navona.
